car battery????

so my other car isn't starting .. 93' mazda 626 cronos and i was thinking of replace it .. since thats probably the cause of the problem.. a dead battery
im thinking of taking the battery out of my 07 civic.. that should work no problem right?? is there antyhing i should do before i take the battery out?
like audio codes.... power window lock and stuff... thinking of putting in optima yellow top for the civic

as well.. anyone know any idea why it wont start? it just died last night .. engine doesn't even click but theres a bit of power .. very dimmed lights
