in my opionion, usually you don't have to worried about changing the power steering fluid for another 60,000 miles. As for brake fluid, it is recommend to flush/change brake fluid every 30,000 mile.

Change your brake fluid once a year, especially if you drive in bumper 2 bumper traffic w/temp ranging from 20-100 F.

If you race, than change it after every race day.

"technically" you don't "change" brake fluid. When BLEEDING brakes. Also keep in mind if you have never BLED your brake fluid before and its VERY dirty, You might wanna plan on getting your self a new master. If you get dirt in that master by trying to flush out old old brake fluid you can consider that master cylinder as good as done.

If you don't really know what your doing, I wouldnt touch this.... If you forget to close the bleeder holes or something related to that it can cause you your life or someone elses.
