man, when i first got the car i must have gone into 4th from 5th trying to go into 6th like 20-30 times... and so did people that test drove the car. but i and everyone always noticed, and becided it was a normal shifing at 4000rpm so it would have jumped to 5500rpm... nothing... hell crusing at 100km/h i shift to 3rd and the rpm goes to 6800-7000rpm... but its from 3000rpm.
So even though i have mis-shifted quite a few times, luckly i have never let the rpm hit over 8500, even though it dose goto 8600 in 5th but i wont get into that...

Hmmm i wonder if they can pull info like that, legally.... I know that insurance companies do not have the right to ECU logged info in the aftermath of an accident. I do know that it is within there right to pull trouble codes(ie over rev code) but i wonder if they can do other things. Its kind of a "self incrimination" thing (but not quite)
