Scraped paint on front bumper, some info
Straight to the point...driving to a friends house at night, didnt see the dip, turned the corner at about 20-25...scraped the paint on the front right bumper. From what I can tell as of now, they dont look too bad, just scraped paint, mostly under, a little is showing in front.
What can I do to get this fixed? buffer it out and repaint it? If anyone can tell me some details I would appreciate it. BTW- its night right now but ill update with pictures if needed in the morning. |

Unfortunelty, you can't buff paint thats not there. The scrapes removed the paint and therefore, you cant buff it to get it back. You can touch it up and then buff the tuchup paint in hopes of a better look. But the only real way to fix it is with new paint. You could have a shop "spot" the paint into the one area, but it wont last but a few years untill it will peel. The only real fix is a compleate refinish (or partial) with a FULL clearcoat...
