all you wannabe steet racers make me laugh. You beat the shit out of your cars and then complain when they break.

if you redline it at every opportunity, evenually something will give. I can drive fast but I am smart enough to know what is good, and what is not good for the transmission and engine.

I didn't buy my Honda to pretend I'm a race car driver. I bought it for economy, funness to drive, handling and Honda's reputation for building a reliable product.
I got past puberty years ago and and don't need to prove my manhood by hot rodding in a rice-mobile

Treat your car nice and it will treat you nice. You can still drive the car spirited without stressing the shit out of the engine. (why not try shifting at 4000-6000 RPM's instead?)

since when does driving a car within its normal operating range 0-8000rpm = abuse? Just a question why put the little red line at 8000 if going above 6000(according to you) is bad? would it make you feel better if honda made the entire vtec range orange? as in people think you will f-up this car if you rev this high. Wow some people have nothing to add but, "your doing it wrong its all your fault". to think i wondered why HOA keeps telling me this when i complain about my 3rd gear issue(which usually occurs on my 2.5 mile commute to work when i never get above 35mph, so dont cry abuse)

oh no the little smiley is gonna break his car HE HIT VTEC AHHH

Gawd, no wonder you have transmission problems then.
Every1 pretty much told you why i rev it that high. i dont casually drive all the time shifting at those high rpms. =I

Not agreeing with anyone but, what if I drove for say 100 miles(prolly wouldnt make it that far) in 3rd gear @ 7800-8000 rpm's without stopping and the motor blew due to overheating and what not. Would that be a manufacture defect or abuse?

You have an EX. when you get an si come back 2 us and youll know why we take up 2 8k rpm sometimes. We all do it at times not every second and theres a reason theres a redline.

I am going to take it to honda for them to have a look. this isn't normal for a new car especially when im shifting at the normal 3000 rpm. the gears are hard to put in but I can still keep the car going smothly though.

I didn't pay for a new car to have it feel like a damn rust bucket.

Completely irrelevant. Who in their right mind would do that? Quit trying to twist the story.
