08 Civic LX Automatic - Grinding or Vibration off the gas pedal at around 20 mph

Hi,

I might be paranoid but when I'm at about 20 - 25 mph I feel a vibration or grinding coming off the gas pedal. As the car accelerates to a higher speed and changes gears, again you feel the same vibration or grinding coming off the gas pedal. Now it has nothing to do with the pedal but most likely something off the engine. Sorry for not being technical enough.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is this normal? Any help appreciated.

I feel the same with my civic i just purchased it, it is also a 2007 honda civic 4 door lx auto. I think its the gridning is normal due to the fact of the cars engine being so compact.

Thanks for the reply. It's such a irking feeling when you buy a brand new car and you start noticing the little things.

I feel a little better though I don't remember the vibration or grinding until now.

its nothing big, i have turned off my radio and heater just to listen to see if the grinding was coming from the engine but the engine sounds like new no knocking or gridning, i personaly think the pedal grinds due to vibration.
