tranny issue

i picked up my new si about two months ago. When i first got the car, the tranny shifted completely smooth. Within the past month ive been having some problems.
Sometimes third gear is hard to get into. I will go to shift into third and it will only go half way up and then i have to let it out and then put it back in and it goes.
Also now second gear is a little rough. going from first to second is fine but when i go from third to second gear it doesnt shift into place. Its similar to the problem i have with third gear. And yes my clutch is pressed all the way down.
Is anyone else having these problems with their si trannys and is this somehting the dealer will cover.

Yeah I have the same problem. It has caused me to mis-shift and now I have a whistling noise in 4th gear. Doesn't really affect anything, but I took it in and I have to bring it back to have it worked on. Probably going to have synchro's replaced. No worries, its under warranty, just take it in.

does that whistling noise kick in at 45mph ish? because ive noticed that in my car and it even continues into 5th gear upto like 55mph ish. it sounds like an extremely toned down supercharger whine. i believe its normal from what ive been reading on tov and other places if that is indeed what ur talking about.

That whistling noise reminds me of the sound effect an after market

Mine does EXACTLY the same thing! Please let me know if you get yours fixed, I would really like to know how it turned out because I'm reluctant to let anyone work on my car.

Anything on this? My 4th gear makes more of a whine than any other gear, has done it since I got the car. Is this normal?
