Honda Call in Protest!!

Lets all with Si's, problems or not, organize a call in to hondas numbers and flood there lines with complains hourly. We can call it a protest and try to show them how many people are going without being satisfied.. we could potentially cause such a panic with them that they will have a recall for new gears and syncros to fix the problems world wide.

Since it is such a hard thing to replicate and it happens so spontanious they think they are swift and will say they will approach it one car at a time. Thats not good enough when we all know its a problem in EVERY SINGLE one of the cars and us here alone are a much larger group of k20z3 engines honda has ever tested.

I'm in if you get this organized. They have me on file, even though they closed my case without ever even talking to me face to face.

I thought this was tried before, and when we recorded case file numbers, when confronted after being told "we've never heard of it before" Honda said those case numbers didn't exist.

Convenient, hey?

Just let me know when, and I'm in. I'm done dealing with this bullshit. I didn't buy a Honda to spend so much time worrying about whether my car is being damaged due to Honda's flaw.

I proposed an idea like this way back, Ringpop and I sort of presented it. People seemed apathetic. Perhaps with the success of the dealership protest it will get people interested.

The basic plan of attack I had in mind was...

1. Plan a big call in that involves multiple forums that center around the affected cars.
2. Pick a date and time to start calling.
3. People call and give their info, report their problem and symptoms, explain they have been to a dealer about the problem (sorry guys but you are going to have to get the dealer to look at this problem. Otherwise when you call Honda they are going to ask if you took it to a dealer. If you haven't they will tell you to do so, conversation over...)
4. When you call ask for a CASE NUMBER.
5. Report back to a centralized thread. Leave basic information at the top, and more about the call at the bottom.
6. Post who you spoke to, your first name, the basic problem you described and YOUR CASE NUMBER.
7. Under that basic info you can add whatever information you feel.

If people are willing to do that we would be able to have names and case numbers as proof of people who have called and left complaints about the problems. In this way Honda 1. Can't say they are unaware of the problem and 2. Both Honda and their customers will know there is an understanding that this problem exists.

If no one is willing to do that in an organized fashion a call in will be useless.

The trick is getting people to do this en masse.

Whenever I call them they say somebody will get back to you, when they do get back to you they say go to the dealership and the complaint has been logged. If you already went to the dealership they will then say sorry the dealership couldn't help you but you're SOL and the case is closed. I think the only thing that partially worked were the complaints about their crappy iPod musiclink -they took it off the market and did nothing for the people that complained and were stuck paying $200+ for it.

E-mail is too impersonal and easy to ignore. I sent InCase (a company that makes a case for Macbook laptops) complaining that the case has stained my white shell black in a few places (many, many other users report the same thing) and I have yet to get a response.

They can ignore email and say they never got anything.

When you talk to someone on the phone, they can't just ignore you. They have to at least give you a bullshit excuse, if nothing else.

the point is not to just call 1 number to call all of hondas numbers.. and tell them were organizing a call in and were all complaining abou tthe problem with 2nd and 3rd gears in our cars.... and we want a solution... we give it a month.. and then do it again. if we do mass email.. it could be bad and shut down there email server.

After my honda case manager closed my case , I got this in the mail. It is a customer satisfaction survey, go to it and enter your vin number if you have had a case and were unhappy with the results. Honda

Same here, I'm up for this. I posted a thread over at CRSX about Juan his protest going on over here and some were interested in it.

Perhaps I'll link them here.

P.S. I like Gonzo's idea.
