Honda just towed my car, FUEL INJECTOR?

Started the car this morning and imediatly noticed the car was misfiring. I called honda and they sent the wrecker. Sure enough, #1 fuel injector is DEAD? Anyone else have or heard of this issue. I was planning on some mods in the future that will require that the injectors work properly and I dont know if I should loose faith in these things. Car only has 4600 miles and is stock (07 si sedan). I told the service advisor to check the tranny for the same reason as everyone else and she said there were no service bullitens for my car??? I have the window rattle(known issue), 3rd gear pop out (known issue), and now a busted injector..(door handle is next...sticking really bad). WHAT HAPPEN TO MY FAVORITE COMPANY?

my door handle would stick a little too, just get some spray white lithium grease and get it into the moving parts, try and keep it off the outside paint. sorry to hear about the fuel injector. though i'm sure they will replace it for free. and if you have any problems with them and technical service bulletins, ask someone here for the scan of it, print it oout and show them. that's pretty hard to deny. they probably thought you were looking for a TSB on the fuel injectors. Good luck!

What mod wouldn't require your injectors to work properly?

You are the first I have read about with this problem. Injectors are pretty simple and I think there are only a few companies who actually manufacture them. Like anything it is possible to get a bad one. But I doubt you will have to worry about them being an ongoing problem.

Sorry to hear about all your troubles, hope it all works out.

i don't know who, but i would imagine some one has the TSBs as a printout of PDF or something, bump for proper TSBs.

Forced Induction needs reliable injectors.... misfire on n/a, KABOOM on boost! And I really need the TSB's, they are ignoring the tranny issue
