Wiper panel removal

Actually, I need advise on how to remove the crescent shaped plastic panel (with the multiple circular vent holes) located just in front of the wipers. I removed the 3 pop out plastic rivets accessable from the engine bay, but I'm still unable to remove it. I'm sure there are more somewhere I don't know about.

I think there's at least five more clips on the opposite side of that crescent-shaped plastic panel that you have to remove. At least, that's what it shows in the service manual.

Are those in the engine bay too?

There are 5 clips in total. Three of them have shorter clips than the standard engine bay clips. The last two clips are the engine bay clips in the corner of the top part of the molding. After those clips are out you should be able to pull that plastic cover out and have access to the metal part of the cowl

Watchout, the ends of that piece have tabs that hook under the corner pieces. I broke both of mine off during the header install.

1) Remove the Wiper Arms
2) Remove 3 Clips that hold the cowl top
3) Pull up on the cowl top to unset the clips
4) Pull up on the cowl top from the side covers

installation is reverse
