Question AWD Mod?

I'm just wondering if it's even possible to convert the SI into AWD, or if I'm just fantasizing?

Don't knock the post, I've seen weirder posts, and actually seen them work. (eg rear mount turbo)

Anything is possible with the right amount of money. But it was cost a lot, a lot of fabrication. Cheaper just to buy an STI or EVO.

i actually think this mod may be more possible than you guys think. I dont know about the current one but the previous generation CRV was based on the civic platform, so there you go. CRV should be a fairly helpful transplant donor for a AWD platform on a civic, assuming you can get the driveshaft run down the car

We don't have that rear hump in the back...so you would have to cut the floor out

This was done in a 94-01 Integra by Hondatuning mag a few years ago.

lol look at this quote

The lug-pulleys bolt directly to the wheel studs! If you can change a tire, you can install this kit. Please refrain from making left or right turns once this kit is installed. To enjoy the added handling benefits of AWD with this kit, is important that the steering wheel remains perfectly centered!

You'll lose HP with RWD too dude. There's a drive shaft connecting the engine to the tires, and this causes some loss of HP.
