i turned the car on. The VSA light came on and so did the vsa triangle..then the CEL came on. The temp goes up and down every 10 seconds. It keeps saying connecting and then goes blank then i press the red button and it says connecting again. Is my 2007 civic si coupe an obd2?

yea its an OBDII(honda calls is dlp or something like that). i have an 07 si sedan and it works fine. only thing i could say is disconnect it and reconnect it. even try it in another car and see what happens and then try it in your car again...

mine took like 15 seconds to connect. after it connects the first time it doesnt have to connect anymore, it should come on when the car is turned on. which reminds me, if you plug it in with the car off, it will connect and shut off, the only way to keep it on is to have the car running... so have you had the car on and does it still do the same thing???

i had the engine running when i turned it on. It still says connecting for a real long time. Im just going to contact support and have them help. I heard they have good customer service so we will see. Some guy on mustang forum had the same thing and it was a defective wire. Just a question, anybody with an 07 si coupe have the scangauge and it works?

ya, i would call their support. if its not working with the car running, then there is something wrong with the gauge itself or like you said, the wire. good luck.....
