just about any aftermarket engine mod COULD cause a CEL. people have reported them from intakes and race headers mostly.

exhaust as no sensors that lead back to the computer. it cannot cause a CEL. only part of an exhaust the can cause a CEL is a header/cat delete.

I don't think you will get a CEL from exhaust, maybe a intake or race header.

Sorry to thread jack, but if you reset the ECU with a SRI, or CRI, would the CEL come on?

you can use a defouler or O2 simulator to fix the CEL caused by a raceheader

I had mine come on from my intake. Funny thing is the dealer actually put a brand new sensor in, although im sure it could have just been cleaned.

what??? do you have an aftermarket intake or stock?? if honda put a new one in if you have an aftermarket intake thats incredible. honda seems to never want to work with you if you have mods....

I have the injen cai intake, believe me, i was shocked when they said they would replace it. When i dropped it off to check out the cel the guy was a real ass and told me it was going to cost about 100 bucks to remove it, but then they told me it was a bad maf sensor and replaced it... Still cant believe it.
