Install HFP LIP at 60 degrees or higher?

On collegehillshonda, their website/tutorial of the hfp lip states that you must install the hfp lip in an area that is at 60 degrees or above. Has anyone installed the lip in colder temperatures? If so, how did it go?

I believe the only reason is because of the double sided tape that you need to attach to the body.
I actually just recently took my lip off today and it came off fairly easy.. right now it's -40C which is cold as hell.

You should wait, if it's too cold.. the tape may not stick properly and eventually just slowly peel off.

Would a heat gun work for putting the tape on lol?

maybe put it on in your garage if you have a 2 car garage... just get some space heaters?

a heat gun WOULD work, but you don't wanna sit there for like a half an hour - an hour for the tape to secure itself. The heat gun is pretty hot itself, so you gotta watch not to burn the clear or anything.
You should wait until it warms up a bit.. better to be safe than sorry.
Unless of course you've got a garage, set up some heaters like Szwaboski suggested.

I did mine a month ago in my garage. Mightve been like 40 degrees outside. After I was done and went out to drive it started raining. But since then the lip is holding fine.

-45 degree Celsius = -49 degree Fahrenheit
according to onlineconversion.com

I was confused about that too.. but as the temperature decreases in Celcius, it starts to even out with Fahrenheit... dunno why

because Celsius was based on the 0-100 scale so it weirds out going negative and past 100

We did the front and the back on our own in cold weather, but used a heatgun and had no problem.
Then I took it to the dealership for the sideskirts and I don't know if they used a heatgun or not, but it has spots that didn't stick all that great. I would follow what honda says if I could do it over again.

Did mine in the garage few weeks ago. Used a hair dryer to warm the tape. No problems so far.
