Speed Governor in Sis?
Lets try this again..... (Allow me to re-word my thread supermod......sigh) Does our Si have a speed governor that cuts off fuel supply before hitting VTEC in 6th gear?? can this be turned off or does the hondata reflash remove this?

On the 06 there is no speed governor.. just a rev limiter. And plus you wouldn't be able to go fast enough to hit that in 6th unless you had an extremely long stretch of pavement to achieve it on. Of course a downgrade would help lol.
now of course if you have F/I.. you can see where the speedo goes crazy because the AJP car made it max out |

Theres a video on a dyno of an 06 si.. where he showed the car can get up to 157 until it hits the rev limiter.
TOV guys also did this as well when the FG2 first came out but with a pre-production model but it still hit 157 mph on the rollers |

hell no I didn't lol. It is a sanctioned spot. My uncle owns it for that very reason! Its a legitimate business thing, People pay him to run their cars out on the air strips. no there are no lights or time slips, but its not a drag strip. I love illinformed thread locks based on misunderstandings....
