No really, you have to ask yourself - Is this newsworthy? No, but will this sell papers?

Good luck, but don't expect Honda to disassociate with the dealership, nor for the GM to come out crying and offer you an NSX as compensation for your troubles.

LOL...NSX....I read in the paper the other day that this exact auto park has had a huge decline in sales....and following the article was comments from people saying that this auto park has the worst salespeople and the worst customer service...seriously...its the nc times.

Im willing to bet that 5% of the people bitching actually have a "REAL" tranny problem, 20% are trolls, and 75% think they have a problem cause it dont go smoothly through the gates(which is not a faulty trans) every honda i owned had a notchy trans. My Z33 has a notchy transmisson, and clunks into 1st from nautral, with clucth engaged

Cheers
look up the honda civic si petition and go through all the pages and see how many people had to replace their clutch....

Could careless now many people are on the list, and how many have had to replace there clutch. explain to me how a clucth wears from going from 3rd to neutral.. Kinda like rev matching and your clutch gos out not happening. you dont even need to use the clutch to go into neutral from any gear

Shame on some of you. Honestly. I am incredibly disappointed with a great many of you.

Even if you think what he is doing is stupid, he's doing more than most of us are over this third gear bullshit. And that's what it is, bullshit.

It's a shame one person can't "make a difference" for a massive conglomerate like Honda, who has shown time and time again that they are ignoring this issue and pretending it doesn't exist (how many records do we have of people calling HOA and they've said "We've never heard of it."

Good for you, I say. I hope you get some support, and the TV station rips them apart.

If a fix is coming like people say, that's good, but it's too little too late as far as I'm concerned. My frustration over Honda's customer service and care is damaged beyond repair most likely. I thought Honda cared about customers more than what I've been shown.

Hell, CHEVY took better care of me.

Thumbs up to you, OP. And shame on those of you who are chiding him.

I don't know of anyone who has had any luck doing this.

I personally got my case closed by some stupid woman who told me that she was on the dealers side, and beacsue they couldnt replicate the third gear issue paired with how they've never heard of it, it didn't exist.

Not happy.

Send out emails to every local newspaper and tv station. Just might get some coverage. File a complaint with the BBB for not honoring the warrenty.

Also research the local laws. Some laws might prevent sign holding or public gathering without a permit.

Wasn't one of the conditions of the new "fix" coming out a required inspection of the clutch to see if it was prematurely worn?

If so, I'd have to argue that. There has to be a reason they'd be "checking" that.
