I hope the people with problems get it fixed, it should be Honda's responsibility. I'm crossing my fingers that they come up with a recall for you guys.

I know, but please don't get an account there to flame. I've worked very hard building trust and friendships over there, but obviously there are still a few tools who think GM is infallable and that buying a Honda or Toyota is the equivalent of what Hitler did.

For the most part, people are respectful and accepting now that they know I'm not some mindless Honda drone. In fact, it's funny, because I'm hated by those mindless Honda drones on this site, and hated by some on the GM forum because I'm supposedly one of those mindless Honda drones. If they only knew haha.

You go through 3 clutches so you want Honda to reimburse you for the cost of the parts and labor.

You don't want to invest the money into a possible solution but you expect for them to just take your word for you hand fork over a solution that requires nothing on your part.

People aren't going to be that keen to protest, you would have better luck with a petition or something.

Its 2008 people don't want their face on the news while standing outside of a honda dealership wearing a shirt with a lemon on it (i wonder if you can get sued for making those shirts with the honda logo on it..copywrite infringment?). Im sure some people could lose their job in some situations if they were seen out there doing that. I personally would never tarnish my image by doing such a thing.

Do I remember the service writer's name? No, not off hand. I suppose I could look on the repair order to find out, but I don't think I want to expose him here.

I told him about 2 problems: 3rd gear grinding and suspension popping (another common annoyance w/ these cars), and mentioned all the people online complaining about the same thing. The funny thing is that his respsonse was, "We don't listen to what people say on car forums. We look at each car on a case by case basis." lol, as if these cars aren't all essentially identical. I wonder if they're listening now...
