Replacing Radiator Hose

Can anyone help me out with an issue about the CAI touching the radiator hose. I just installed my P2R TB spacer and gasket and even b4 the spacer, it was already touching the radiator hose. I was wondering if anyone has replaced the hose, and if so...how long. Any advice would help because whats the point of the TB and CAI if I'm going to have heatsoak from the radiator hose.

And no, I don't want to wrap some insulating material around the radiator hose if I can help it.

Thanks!

that's a problem that i do not want to deal with, so i'm keeping a sri or the stock intake.

Yea...I;m thinking the SRI would be easier, but I love my CAI and don't want to part ways with it quite yet.

not sure if replacing the hoses will do any difference, try using those little plastic line that lock wires and stuff in place. forgot the name, but you'll know what i'm talking about, i seen people done it before.

If I replace the radiator hose with a longer one, it shouldn't touch the intake elbow, thus, heatsoak gone!

I don't know if this would work, but has anyone ever tried that Mr. Gasket bendable radiator hose?

yah, i'm pretty worried about it too, the rubber of the CAI is touching the rad hose as is... and with the TBS its going to be pushing it, that and there is another hose(vaccume) thats also touching the rad hose...

i was thinking of getting that horrably expensive flexable tube, and useing that... and technicly it wouldnt be rice or tacky, because its being used properly... in a custome application.

EDIT: ^^^ yah that stuff... but the one i was has a annidized 2-piece clamp...
