Firewall

How do you get through to the firewall? I'm looking to install led lights for the inside of my car and hook them up to my battery..

I'd thread the wire through an existing grommet. It'll retain the weather-proof seal better.

you need to acces your router by typing in 192.168.0.1 then your username and password, then scroll to the...

Look up some of the foglight threads, there is a unused grommet on the driver side above the dead pedle and one behind the heater unit.

Barring that, go to auto zone and get a grommet and drill your own hole, the problem with this is that you can drill through expensive things and it will mostlikly never be water tight again.

oh i forgot to mention the best way to see it is to lay on your back and look up at your steering coloum in your footwell...

its actuly comfterble, when i was installing my foglights that was the best position overall compared to laying on the floor to get clips off or crouched over, or on my knees...

I did this to install lights in my old car and it is too much work. Much easier to just connect the leds to a power source inside the car (such as the fusebox) and run a switch from it. You could also have them go on when you turn your head lights on.

haha yeah thats what i ended up doing. it would have been a pain in the ass trying to route the wires from the battery to the interior since its so cramped in the engine space. they turned out pretty sick
