Just talked to Honda: If your vehicle is exhibiting excessive tire wear on the inner part of the tire or cross directional wear (causing vibration), then you are entitled to new tires, and some camber alignment repair for the rear upper control arms and some other bits.

So if your tires are wearing away VERY quickly like mine did, bring them in and you should be able to get Honda to fix it for you. I'll be bringing my old tires to get the rear camber aligned.

The Si was design for good cornering, so negative camber is one way to get good cornering. Just like the integra type-r has more negative camber than the gsr.

Yes i know this, but i dont autocross my car nor do i really push it through curves hard. Not all Si owners are worried about the best handling possible. Im sick of the rear tire wear/ noise.

Skunk2 control arms would take care of the rear camber

It says inner wear. Our civics (R18 and Si) all have negative camber on the back. Inner wear is one of the results of negative camber. Is this bulletin saying the negative camber is not supposed to be?

What is diagonal wear? Never heard of that.

PS - I'm taking my car in tomorrow to get it fixed based on this TSB....Thank you 8thcivic once again!

also, what would entail "excessive wear"

in have an 06 with 21k on the stockers.
how long do they normally last?

Why must there be "excessive wear" for this TSB. Why cant they just see that the rear has negative camber in an unmodded suspension. If it's a 06-07 car with low mileage, there wont be much wear at all so it's not fair.

I had the same problem with the 06 SI. the mechanig said the rear wheels were leaning inwards and the inside was almost sleek. Good thing i went in there for new tires and to install my skunk 2 camber arms.
