OIL LIFE 100% too long??
Hey guys, I just purchased an 08 Si sedan today and i drove it around pretty spiritedly
and i have about 60 miles on it now, but for some reason the oil life still remains at 100%.I work at a shop and every car ive changed oil on with a maintence reminder, after you reset the light the second you start the engine it drops to 99%. So is this normal or should i be concerned? |

If your car is brand new you should probably change the oil after about 1000 or even less. As you will read on other posts, people find little bits of metal and stuff inside the oil from the car being brand new. Its best to change it right away to help clean the car out. Just my 2 cents.
