honda prelude oil filter

hey, can you guys help me out here. I have 3 cases (24 filters/case) of Honda oil filter (15400-pt7-005), and i was wondering if it will fit in my 2008 civic ex auto?? This oil filter was once use on my 98 honda prelude.

i am pretty sure its the same. i have a B series and my buddy has a 07 SI and we use the same filter.
