brake light

i dont know if this little light shows up to you guys, but when im taking a hard turn or anything of that sort this light turns on. i would like to know if anyone knows why it turns on and if it does anything.

is it a triangle with an exclamation point in your dash? If so thats your VSA light - vehicle stability assist

look it up in your manual

yeah i get that light when i red line first into second and i do some tire spinning. VSA

According to his profile, he has a 2006 Si, so no VSA.

if it really is the brake light, it could be that when you take those fast turns your brake fluid is moving around so much the sensor is reading low. I would just check the fluid level in the master cylinder.
