car won't start

ok heres the deal....i went to breakfast with my dad and left the running lights on....came back and car was dead...used my black & decker jumper and charged battery....charged perfectly fine, no big deal...then go to start car...nothing...the lights on the low oil pressure, seat belt and one other are on....headlights do not turn on...no air, radio, dingers anything....so then i tried jumping off dads car but it didn't do anything because the battery was already charged. So i am kind of lost..almost seems like the car is just disabled...could the immobilizer caused this? or what else could be going wrong? honda service is closed so I need some serious help

If you are using jumper box to charge the battery, then it won't work. Jumper box is designed to start your car when your battery go below 12v( which means the car won't start when the battery goes under 12v). The jumper box can jump probably twice in a roll before you have to charge it up.

Check your main fuse under the hood. Check the 40A or 30A large fuse....if you hooked up your booster cable or charger backwards you will blow these fuses.

If fuses are fine, try boosting again. This time hook the positive lead to the battery and the negative lead to the engine block closest to the alternator (or the alternator). It will give you the best current flow for the boost. I don't think you charged the battery enough.

yeah the jumper box was fine but my battery was to far gone...my car sits A LOT....so the battery was dry, no water. So when I left the parking lights on for a little wire what it had was gone then. Put some water and red wine in it and good as new.
