threw 2 codes today.......stupid rain
ok well last time it rained hard and i drove in it i threw a code and went to get it checked, but it had reset by the time i got to autozone. stayed off and was fine after that.
a month or so later its raining today (not much) no water on the streets or anything. The light comes on well im on the way home. I go to autozone and pull the code. P0102 and P0137 so now im wondering if the 02 Sensor is really the problem (i have a DC race header on there and had to use a defouler then i threw the code last time) Also! i just got hit by a drunk driver and i think i have a exaust leak also cuz i can hear its very raspy now and louder under idle. car was fine other than that, this thing is a tank! could that be a problem wtf man am i gonna have this problem everytime it rains? any advice would be great .........just waiting for the rain to stop to check it |

yea, but they have been nothing but trouble since they sold me the car the wouldnt offer any help with the check engine light the dc header was causing. the light came on after i had the car a few days, they must have cleared it and sold me the car.
they swore i needed a new muffler or cat and it was my greddy evo. but after searching the forums i learned it was the race header throwing a o2 code and fixed it with a defouler. i feel if i took it in they would give me the run around and not even care about it i mean they wanted to tell me at first it was the aem intake. |

the dealer can refuse to warrenty/diagnose your car without your consent, because they can/will cahrge you since you voided your warrenty by installign the 2 parts that directly effect your problems. your best bet is to replace teh AEM intake with teh stock one and rest your ECU. see if any CEL comes back. if not, problem solved. if teh MAF code comes back, change the MAF sensor since it had previously gotten wet. the O@ code, not to sure about, but if you dont have a defouler, get one. |

u got a car from a honda dealer with hondata, and a raceheader?
dealers wont usually sell this closest thing to it is catback and intake and theyll sell it like that otherwise i dont think its legit for them to sell a certified used car with ecu mods and a raceheader.. but to your problem id put the stock intake on because if its one of those intakes that was first manuf. by AEM when they first started making them for our cars they had a few problems..then check your maf and reset your ecu by unhooking battery for 15 and then redoing it and letting your car run for a little..for your 02 problem id check your defoulers/02 sensor lines to see whats up under there.. |
