2006 Service manual & Software

Anyone know of where a 06 civic service manual (not owner manual) can be found 'online' OR paper copy.

Lastly - does anyone use or know of good software for civic diagnostics?

Helm Inc. sells the shop manuals for most of the OEM's. HandA also sells shop manuals. These are the same manuals used in the dealership service centers, but they cost ~$120.

I would recommend getting the factory service manual. You can buy it directly from the publisher (Helm, Inc.). I don't think they have an electronic version of it available for retail purchase. If you don't need that great of detail, you might want to look at an after-market manual like from Haynes. They cover the basics but are not even close to the quality of the factory manuals.

I do most of the normal servicing on my '06 Pilot and wifes '06 Civic and bought the Helm service manuals for both. My Civic service manual only covers 2006 but also only cost $75 back then!

Since you also only need the 2006 stuff, you could also try looking on ebay.

Good luck!
Larry.

Actually i have SI. I downloaded and installed that file last night. I think is comes in 5 different languages but i didnt see if Engish was one of them. I was born in russia so i fluently speak russian and it was one of the languages. After i looked through it, it looked really similar. It has a lot of pics and diagrams. I mostly downloaded just to see torque specs on different installs. Its free.... so its better then nothing...hahah. If you dont like it...just erase it

Since nobody has officially posted it yet, here is the link to the Helm Inc factory service manual for the Si.

Helm Incorporated: Product

and for the hybrid

Helm Incorporated: Product

I can't recommend anything other than Helm. Had one for my 96 Prelude that saved me many hours of headaches. Chilton and Haynes just can't stand up to the Helm (IMO).

I have the Factory Service Manuals for 06-07 Civic. ALL Models including Si. I also have an electrical troubleshooting book for the same years. They are green and come straight from Honda. Got em on ebay for about $225 total. These are the real deal and not a clone.
