subwoofer probs

im just wondering im thinking many people have this problem... if u have the subwoofer in civic does anyone else hear it rattle... its really annoying... does ne one know how to get it to stop?

its the rear deck panel, mines was doing the same thing apparently the dealer told me mines was loose and it hasnt rattled since.

yes, the panel has a rattle issue. honda has a service bulltein for it. just bring it in and they will fix it for free. i had 2 si"s and they both did it. they just put that stereo tape around it and tighten it up!

they serviced mine twice, but it did nothing. I got a $3 roll of foam tape and removed the rear deck and put the tape everywhere the rear deck could possibly contact the metal. 45 minutes and problem solved. DIY always is > than Stealership service...

I just put terry cloths and paper towels in there,it rattles but not as bad as it did before,ill fix it though. Try that it really works,you have to make sure that the towels are pushed up against the plastic or else it will rattle. You open up the trunk and where the holes are underneath the rear deck,stuff the towels in there. Hope this helps!
