It's Official!!!!!

So I talked to my engineer contact at Honda Canada today and he told me that offically the new ECU re-flash to fix REV hanging is now released to all Canadian Honda dealerships. As well if you are waiting on your '06 still, it will be fixed before you even get it. So if you live in Canada (USA unsure as of yet?) go to your local dealer and ask if they have recieved the ECU re-flash to fix REV hanging and you should be all good Oh ya and in regards to the re-flash my friend told me it's about 95% better then it was not perfect but so little that you'll never notice :)

Cheers,

Adam

My car is going in on Thursday for something else, so I'll keep everyone posted if it's true or not.

Well I stopped at a Honda dealer near my home (not my regular dealer though) and inquired about this re-flash. They didn't know anything about it.

I'll try again tomorrow when I get the car serviced.

just got off the phone with my dealer. They knew nothing about it and said they were usually the last ones to find out, they said it will leak and spread all around then honda will announce it and then they get it.

I also went to the dealer next to my house (not my normal dealer either) and they didnt know anything about it. So hopefully by next week. I figure if its in canada now, should take less than a week for it to filter out into the states. But thats just my guess; what do i know? :)

the rev hangin isn't SUCH a big deal? i mean is it? the only thing i dont liek about it is when i let off, it jerks the car when i let off the gas (in gear) a second later. other than that, stop/go traffic is not really in issue for it, and i'm in Los Angeles. haha.

The rev hanging is a big deal when it comes to down shifting.. and I mean BIG difference...
I'm also hoping this fixes the lag when you press the gas pedal.. cuz that delay is whats making the SI vs RSX type S race from close.. to VERY BIG DIFFERENCE!
