A-Pillar cover not flush with body

So I was driving around the other day and my brother pointed out that the passanger A-Pillar cover does not sit flush with the body on my car, its about a quarter inch off at the top, sorta sticks out a bit. Im talking about the plastic peice on the inside of the car btw.

So i take it back to the dealer i got the car from to have it fixed under warrenty, they order out the part, call me a week later when they get it in, put it on, I get back in and its the same as when i gave it to them. Only this time I find a small plastic clip on the ground. I had to be to class in 10 minutes and i was about 30 minutes away, so i just left without saying anything. So today i finally had a day off work/school so i brought the car to the dealership closer to my house and they look at it, tell me its defective, order up a new part. So here I am again, waiting for the part.

Can any of you guys do me a favor and tell me if the covers on your passanger side sit flush, i looked at my buddies and his was fine, but i just think its odd that i would get 2 defective peices, maybe something is wrong with my car? I will have to wait to find out though.

mine is the same way, i didnt' bother with it. the passenger side as well. the driver isfine. i just left it alone. i know that if i take it to the dealer, they'll mess somethign up. they're pretty much peopel just like u and i who do these installs. they know nothing pretty much. but they always make mistakes like leave clips on teh floor.

Mines the same way. I had it replaced and they dinged my outside A-pillar (assholes) Paintless dent repair.+ the new one is even worse. It sicks out even more and the side window vent part on the bottom keeps poping off. I took it back last week .They ordered new parts and clips. Hopfully it all works out.

Well they replaced it the other day (ive been too busy to get back here to post) and it is EXACTLY the same as before. They all were trying to tell me that it was normal, then i pulled the guy out onto the sales floor, made him get the keys to their floor model Si, showed him the pillar there and he was confused. The only thing he could say was "oh, well, uhh umm errr..."

I give up, its time to just deal with it.

Oh and btw, I asked about an ECU update and they hadnt heard anything about it but they did say that they would send me a letter if they heard anything (doubt it).
