It can also be used as a vacuum port. For example if you go boost, and need a place to get vacuum for your Wastegate, BOV, or Boost Gauge. Its a neat way to get vacuum. Also make sure you put a piece of teflon tape on that plug. To make sure it does not leak.

Thats a vaccum port only! I definantely would NOT run it as a Nitrous port. Its to close to the IM. A N2O nossle needs to be at least 6 inches from the TB in order for it to atomize correctly! So this port is a neat way to get a vaccum source but thats it.

If that was the case, why is direct port nitrous better then single fogger and the nitrous foggers on direct port are right in front of the cylinders. A lot closer to the cylinder than by the throttle body is. |

I guess Certain kits arent designed for what their purpose is. ![]() Lets say you put the Nitrous nossel where you say it should go in the Spacer. Now do you suppose the first cylinder is going to get the same amount of nitrous as the last one?....NO ...IT WONT!! You need it 6 inches in front of the TB like I said so it will atomize better insuring all cylinders get equal amouts of the spray! |

Even if you spray nitrous all the way at the air filter. You will still not get the same amount of nitrous to each cylinder. The only reason you can get relatively the same amount of air in each cylinder (Naturally Aspirated) is because the complete manifold is completely full with air. When you spray nitrous (Single Fogger), the intake manifold is not completely full with nitrous like it is air.

And tons of people take there single fogger kit, and turn it into a direct port kit, and they only buy 3 more foggers. |

Now tons of people are turning there single fogger kits into direct port kits by buying 3 more nossels? Hmmmm Thats weird because ive never heard of this. In any case, people can go ahead and use that port as a place to put a N2O nossel, but im just saying I wouldnt!
