2nd and 3rd gear
Today i was trying to figure out how to get 2nd and 3rd smoothly and i found something strange. The car does not have the average 2nd-3rd gear problems when you floor the clutch, bring to 2nd or 3rd and count one sec then let the clutch out to friction spot and let it go. I always drove this way with out waiting the one sec when you are in 2nd and 3rd with clutch depressed all the way. Could this mean that our syncromesh is slow or something? or what makes this problem in our transmission, waiting one sec? It totally kills the feel of shifting.
My brother has a 89 RX7 and in his car, i don't need to wait that one second that one sec and release the clutch to have a smooth shift? His old car shifts smoother than our 07 =/ |
