Header noise at high rpm??
Yesterday I had my BCRH installed. Sounds great and everything, but a mysterious noise happens high in the rpm range near redline. It kind of sounds like a sputtering or backfiring. I do believe I was at around 8200 rpm when this happened. What do you all think this might be??

The speed limit of the engine is 8200 RPM. when the engine reaches that speed it starts cutting the fuel injection to the engine and it sounds like it is back firing. This is normal. If the car is fully stopped 0MPH in neutral or with the clutch depressed it starts cutting the fuel at 5200 RPMs this is an engine protection against engine overrevs.
