I agree a few tweaks here and there and then adding the little things like the forum/thread links, a formal petition with owners names and VIN's, and then just some simple rewording and it will be great and its already much better than the petition this thread is linked to and anything else I have read so far!
Thanks for taking the time to write it. I myself will take some time this weekend to search clubRSX for information on what they have attempted to do in regards to their transmission problems and report back. Not to take away from this letter (I think its great) but whose to say they haven't written many letters like this already and been ignored. |

Maybe it would be better to send just one letter from the group, but that may just get lost in the shuffle. What do ya'll think? Last edited by soxfan; 12-07-2007 at 03:49 PM. |

Yeah once we have a well written letter I think we should post it in a new thread and have people read it and make any recommended additions or revisions and then once we have a final version we should send it out to as many people as we know. |

yeah I read that article on Edmunds and was excited that a reputable source has recognized our problem, and I even printed it out and showed it to my dealer and they didn't really care.
the bottom line is Honda still needs to recognize it. |

Isn't there a place where you can submit a problem to a government agency about saftey issues? I am pretty sure if you are driving and your car pops out of gear that is not very safe.. I am going to search for a lil while longer and hopefully find what i am talking about and post it up on here, i know it does alot more than these online petition.....

i agree. i as well printed it out and took my car in today. they said they drove it around but could not produce the popping. i was trying to get them to just change the MTF to amsoil but they wouldnt do it for free. i asked how much it would be and they said $75!!! no thanks, i'll do it myself.

But as far as doing it ourselves, I know people have done it but i can just see dealerships or Honda giving people trouble because the work wasn't done by a certified technician or Honda dealership and they may even go as far as to blame the change in MTF for causing problems, you never know... |
