will accord headrest work in our cars?

I have to say I don't like the Civic headrest much but I learn to adapt to it.

I guess people like me coming from other kinds of car like a Toyota Avalon where it focus on comfort more. My whole back, neck, and head would make complete contact with the Avalon's seats.

Now with the Si it seems though there is a gap between my head and my back where my neck doesn't rest on anything.

I don't like it but I'll adapt to it.

You can take the headrests out, flip them around, and they may suit your better.
I do this on my wifes car all the time to **** with her...... one time she got me back.

Follow up to this... I bought some '06 Accord 4 door headrests for our car. They fit fine and provide a little more headroom. The seats with the Accord headrests are similar to other cars w/regard to head rest position, and IMHO should be much safer than removing or reversing the stock headrests.

Our car has the grey interior ('06 Civic LX Sedan). The Accord headrests are a darker shade of grey and the fabric pattern doesn't match, but they don't look horrifically bad or anything like that. I suspect a 'normal' (vs. enthusiast) person wouldn't know they weren't stock.

Total cost for the pair was a little over $100 from College Hills Honda. Well worth it from our point of view, since it changed the car from one my wife refused to drive to one she doesn't mind at all now.

would you recommend 03 accord or 06 accord head rests?

why not go with the accord coupe 2003-2007?

that way you can keep the arch shape. Or does that one lean forward more then the sedan?

I'm not recommending this but if you put the metal shaft from your headrest in a vice and give a couple of good pushes on the headrest you can adjust the angle of the headrest. It's a little crude but effective.

If it really bugs you, you should check if mercedes headrests would fit on the civic since they are adjustable. You can move the headrest back and forth with about a 3 inch play
