Frozen Locks

Hi I have a civic DX with manual locks. Yesterday one of the locks (drivers door) slightly froze. kind of worring. I wonder what you can do to prevent that.

any autoparts store has a lock de-icer..it works fine

froze from cold weather, or just got stuck?

there are many commercial lock de-icers that work well. you can also spray a little rubbing alcohol in there to melt the ice.

if it just got stuck, a little WD-40 in the lock will do it some good.

Great, I didn't know you could buy such a thing.

I'm not Canadian......don't know about such a things. I feel dumb now. Oh well someone had to asked.
