radiator fan quetion

Hi dont know if this is normal for the civic or not, but I have a 06 ex coupe and when ever I start the car and say have it ideling and I turn on the fan inside the car it also turns on the radiator fan in the front of the engine. When I turn on the fan the radiator fan turns of to. The temp guage reads only one bar, so the engine isn't even warm yet.
My other civic an 90 doesnt do this.

The only time that the radiator fan will come on is when the car reaches a certain temperature, or when you kick on the A/C. When you turn on your blower fan inside your car it will kick on the radiator fan if you have the A/C on. When you A/C compressor cycles then the radiator fan kicks on. Only other time it should kick on is when the engine reaches a certain temperature then the ECM will kick on the radiator fan to cool the engine.
