um it would be quite expensive and take a lot of time and experimentation, because no one has done it yet.

If you're talking about a civic it would cost a fortune, not to mention the fact that civics don't have the "hump" aka space for a driveshaft.

it would be easiest and smartest simply to trade for an AWD car

then again if you're fairly daft and try it anyways.. well.. I dunno.. $10K-20K, countless hours of fitment, custom fabrication, etc, etc.. and you'll end up with an unreliable hack job

It'll cost as much as you paid for the car or more.

its been done with eg civics and dc integras by using the b20 tranny and transfer case. MAJOR HACKJOB though. why would you ever want to attempt this and fund it instead of buying an awd car??

or if you have alot moneys and you happen not wanting to get a regular AWD cars, you can try double motors lol. strip out you back seats convert it to a Mid Engine Rear wheel drive car while you're still a FWD, so that mean you're AWD. then you will beat regular AWD all day and night if it's possible, but hey anything can be possible. add another k20z3 to your car. jk

i would just MOVE the engine to the back seats. mid engine RWD.

no need for driveshaft, different transmission/engine things like that.
