It sounds like a very high friction. What ever it is, it needs to be fixed. Any burning smell?

Well, I checked again for noises today, i guess i was more focused and pin pointed it to the alternator.

Headed to honda now to drop it off.

is there even a power steering pump in the Si? I thought that there wasn't.

god that is annoying! sounds like there's an undertone having to do with the fan in there, too, but it's hard to tell.

Lol at supercharger comment. That's what I first thought when I heard it too. Last time I checked though I was still n/a


The whining noise is pretty annoying....
