CD player screwed up
This has been happening for over 2 months now and I'd like to share it. Well, the CD player for my 07 Civic doesn't skip to the next song. It'll jump to another track randomly when the song finishes. If you choose to skip to the next song, it'll jump to another track totally randomly. Sometimes it'll take me like 30 seconds to a minute just to get a specific track.
Just to let you people know, I've used only one CD for my Civic and I've left it there all the time. So, I don't think it was caused by dirt and overused or anything like that. Any suggestions? I don't want to take it to the dealer right away because they'll probably tear apart the dash to get it right. I'm not a big fan of having a new car's dashboard removed and put back. |

are you sure its not on shuffle? when its on shuffle is will jump from one song on the cd to a other like 1 to 8 to 3 ect... when you turn the cd player on, look above the track number and time elapsed see if theres any icon, if there is then thats your problem. a dirty cd drive wouldn't do that, it just wouldn't work or keep skipping through the same song.
