Weird sound when my car accelerates

Today when i took my car to the highway and accelerate i heard this sound like my engine was sucking air in or a turbo sucking air in. It was a whistling sound that sounded kinda cool and when i shift, there was no sound. I only hear this once in a while. BTW this was from 3rd to 6th, when i was cruising on 6th there was no sound.

I Hear That Sound All The Time. I Think Its From The Intake. BUT, I Only Hear It At Night Though.

def not vtec.... it happens b4 and during vtec....esp when ur pushing the car at night.

How far down are you pressing the gas peddle, are you flooring it, or accelerating moderately?

It's the stock intake whistling. Disconnect the tube from the front of the airbox, and see if it still does it. The Resonator does that. when I took mine out, it sounded like it had sand in it, and I imagine that would cause a rustling or whistling sound.
