Si noise when coasting in neutral

08 Si coupe 200 mi-

When I'm coasting in neutral, out of gear or clutch in, I can hear a slight "wum wum wum wum" noise coming from the trans that is relative to speed and goes away at about 15 mph. Is this normal?

Your car is new let it break in for awhile, that noise may be normal, it could also be tire noise

I'm certain it's from the trans, not tire noise. It is non-existent when in gear.

My 07 Si Sedan does that too. When in neutral, first, or 2nd gear and coasting, you hear gear whine. I also had an 06 Si Coupe that did it as well so I chalked it up to normal. The odds of both my Si's having bearing/gear problems with less than 5000 miles on em' for me... nah, has to be normal.
