Engine Malfunction Indicator CEL

So... 20,000 km's on the car, 10,000 after my header installation (DCRH) and non-fouler setup.

All of a sudden, out of nowhere, check engine light. CEL of death.

I am hoping it is (was) a loose fuel cap, because I did check that, and it wasn't tight.... and I did fuel up a few hours ago.

What else could this be?

I'll make an appointment, but as soon as they see my DCRH, I'm screwed.

do you have a friend with a code reader check what it is first if you can before you go to the dealer.

Fixed! It was my gas cap loose. THANK God.....

Reset my ECU and tightened my gas cap. All good!
