Sure hope I'm not in some type of crazy wreck that cause the car to bounce up before impact. The seat would be unloaded and airbad turn off! |

I have the same problem. There is an inflater problem and sensor problem in these civics on the passenger side. I took it back to honda and they ordered me a new inflater but I havn't got the chance to drop my car off for install yet. Sometime after you shake the passenger seat it go back to normal.

If you really want to mess your mind. Buckle the passenger side seat belt, with nothing in it. The light comes on. Can you figure out why? vvv-highlight for answer-vvv Because the belt is buckled, the car assumes that there is someone/something there, even though the person/object weighs less than a pound. So it shuts off the airbag. ^^^Highlight for answer^^^ |
