Short Shifter help!!!
I do not quite understand but im nearly done, does the black TWM adapter with the round ball and the old blue cap on the end go over the existing silver piece that the cap came off of or is there a way to remove this silver piece at the bottom of the shift rod? if the Black TWM adapter does indeed go over it how exactly so?... the DIY does not really do a good job explaining this...

Can you show that silver piece? The SS just goes over the ball joint that the blue cap is on, and you screw it down with some loctite on it. Put the cap back on, and connect everything back up.
LOL, it'd be funny if you already had the Comptech SS on your car. |

nah lol it was the ball joint i was referring too i was just confused because the original ball joint that had the cap was silver in color and the new twm had a new ball joint too so i was confused... i got it though like 12 seconds after i posted lol, i leave for class in like 15 minutes for the test drive =)... although it wouldnt suprise me if i already had one lol i keep finding shit the prev owner installed lol!!
