I know it shouldn't have happen Im a mechanic too. So it's Hondas fault and they wont pay because of my mods. And I also have no time to fix my own car I got school and work. I'm not goin to buy a new car in the future anymore.

Details about anything unusual while driving between the day you bought the car and the trip from school?

Anything happened during the 1/8 mile race against the truck?

Whatever came of the CEL, the O2 sensor and the too rich code?

You have listed an SRI, is that correct?

What happened when you drove into the flood?

Any recent mods that you haven't listed?

The final moments of your engine's life has NOTHING to do with why it died. You'll have to think back at the events that might have contributed.

people forget that it's just two or three clicks to find all of the stupid stuff they shared with the forum

What mod are they blaming the failure of your engine on? They can't just deny it b/c they say 'you have mods'. Stand up for your rights, don't just believe them b/c they say so.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to boost1320 again.

You have given out too much Reputation in the last 24 hours, try again later.

Hmm, my guess is that Hondas going to try to weasel themselves out of this one, but for the OPs sake I hope that everything turns out good.

Good luck...not that it's right, but what are they supposed to do? Someone brings them a car with a blown motor. They inspect and find header/exhaust, intake, etc.., Maybe you'll learn to not do that to new cars you expect a dealer to perform warranty work on...follow the logic.

Of course they will try and they'd be right to put up a fight about it. All the indicators read abuse...

Sorry to say this but NEVER mod a car before warranty is up, you'll get screwed everytime. Wait until the warranty has expired the mod the **** out of it.

Exactly. Unless you have deep pockets and can afford a new motor. If all else fails rebuild your motor, and boost her.

The Moss-somethin' act means they have to establish that the mod caused your engine to fail. Unless the SRI factored into sucking in water or something, it couldn't have caused your engine to fail.

Another thing is, it would've been better if you had taken off the intake BEFORE going to the dealership.
