Tape on front spoiler
I was cleaning my car the other day and I noticed there was black tape (sort of like electrical tape, but more heavy duty) on the corners of the front under body spoiler. It was about 1/2 an inch on both sides (folded over) and just in the corners. Anyone else notice this? I'm wondering if I should just take it off.

Besides, it's not THAT big of piece of tape. They're just in the corners, holding the corners of the kit to the body. It's not like that's ALL that's holding them on. The rest of the kit is screwed on. |

it's called a front air dam spoiler. it's there to help deflect air into the engine compartment while driving. it has nothing to do with protecting the underside of the car. these things will get ripped off after getting to close to a parking stop or curb. take them off or leave them on - really does not make that much of a difference in engine temps.
