If they give you any shit (I'm not kidding, my service adviser told me that last night she checked, and it wasn't on there, and it was this morning when I asked about it), it was JUST posted.

It was earlier posted on August 29th, 2007, but it was withdrawn by Honda less than a day after posting it, to update the information.

If they still give you shit, saying they can't find the bulletin, I will be uploading all several pages of it, including the instructions on how to do it. They gave me everything, as I requested them to.

Since the recall is not Si specific, I've moved this thread to the appropriate forum. I've also updated the first post to include a link to this recall notice.

Special Ringpop, thanks for the making everyone aware of the recall

Thanks. Wasn't sure what forum to put it in initially.

Also, thanks for saving me the trouble of uploading the actual bulletin itself.

I've always been pleased with Burnsville Honda's service department. Sounds like they served you well?!

Better than any other dealership in the TC area, and I've been to almost all of them.

Give me another dealership who'll send a tech out with you for over an hour to hear rattles.

Yeah...none of them.

Burnsville did. I'm very happy with their service department. They haven't once questioned me or been rude to me, and BELIEVE ME: I'm picky.

Where is the quality control inspections at from Alliston,Ontario? i dont think they inspect or check the quality of the Civics,i dont understand why? why the massive list of recalls for the Civics? this is going to hurt and haunt Honda. How many recalls did the previous gen civic have? little to none right? it seems like Honda is rushing to build the Civics,CRV's and Accords but while they are doing that no one checks the quality of the vehicles or inspects them, hell not even the dealer does when they get the Civics,CRV's and Accords in. I have a feeling the 8th gen Accord will have a lot of recalls just like the civic its a shame really....

Looks like I am affected. Maybe I will get them to fix this and my rusty hubs.

Hmm, I wonder if there is anything else I can think of...

They better not mess anything up on my car.

Thanks !! My Fa5 is going in for the squeek rattle in the sunroof, headliner and rear desck. Not to mention the front end thud this friday. Might as well add this to the list now too.

^ Can you describe this "thud".

I have a really loose sound suspension, and when I hit a bump, sometimes the rear sounds like a "thud" or a "ka-klunk".

Dealer says they can't hear anything.

But they are probably deaf from the mass amounts of strain I put on them in the 100s of rattles I've asked them to fix :).
