Side Air Bag Light Off just came on

My side air bag light off just came on and there is no reason as to why it came on. just before it came on i down shifted and at 2500 rpms i got a bad vibration in both 3rd and 2nd. i have 4400 miles on it. as well as my a/c doesn't blow cold just cool most of the time and since day 3 i have had a nasty vibration in the rear at like 70mph. I know if i bring my car to the dealer there going to try to blame it all on my cat back exhaust system. so what do i do? and why would that light just come on?

sorry to not answer your question directly - but i took my fa5 back 3 weeks after i bought it with the same AC problems, and it was blowing 10F higher than it should .. so they fixed it, said it was overloaded with freon (sp) .. you could try and take it back to the dealer and ask them to check it?

The side impact light could be a faulty sensor, or bad coupler.

The AC could be a couple of things ranging from again a bad coupler to coolant leak. if it went from cold to cool gradually over a couple of days or weeks, it is a coolant leak. If you can remember it going from cold to cool within like a day it's prob. a coupler.

They won't blame the light or the ac on the exhaust. The vibe, maybe.

alright...... the dealer said that all the 07 civic's are coming back for the a/c not being charged enough from the factory.... my brake pulsation was my rear drums out of round.... they tried to blame my exhaust on the vibration.... as well as there was no code for the air bag and no problem found with the tranny!!!! i am taking my car to another dealer next wen. and i know one of the machanics so my problem will be handled once and for all
