Drivers seat issues..

The drivers side seat used to go all the way back until it stopped well just recently it wont go that far no matter how far i try to pull the seat back it just wont budge. Any idea what it can be? the passenger side seat works fine it goes all the way back but the drivers side wont now for some reason..

could be bent rails, I have already had my driver seat rails replaced. Warranty issue it turned out to be.

Maybe you dropped something down on the floor, and its jammed in the rail now?

+1

I once dropped a nickel in the slider rail on my old 1993 Civic... It messed up the seat operation. I am very conscientious about making sure I take any change out of my pocket before getting in the drivers seat of any car.

The metal pole underneath to slide it forward and back? yeah it works but it wont let me slide it all the way back but the passenger side one does. My drivers seat used to slide all the way back now it stopped.

Forgive me but I'm trying to understand the what you mean when you say it wont let you slide all the way back.

Will it slide forward? Freely? or does it drag like a screen that is out of its track, it will go but you have to force it.

There's actually a TSB on this very issue for 2006 Civics. See the attachment below.
