yeah i just did that. i went to royal purple, the new honda mtf and about to put in amsoil. i will keep you updated on the new tranny fluid. DONT USE ROYAL PURPLE. i still use their motor fluid. the new honda stuff is good for a while but the notch will eventually come back. everyone enjoys the amsoil. i will give it a shot.

I'd like to add that I added amsoil today.....and I love it!!! No more 3rd gear grind....so far....and the deal gave me bs about it possibly voiding my warranty...i told them to shut up and put it in (in a nicer way than that)....and i've driven it 30+ miles already and no problems!

I got mine here:

https://www.amsoil.com/storefront/mtf.aspx

You'll need two bottles of this, but most likely won't use it all.
I switched to this stuff 3 months ago and haven't had any problems with 3rd gear notchiness at all. Been probably around 3000 miles now and still going fine.

I guess I need to do this. I bought my 07 sedan a couple of weeks ago and the 3rd gear has been nothing but problems. Really disappointing.

Well...the 3rd gear problems for me were eliminated.....i always wondered how transmission fluid could fix that and was skeptical...but i thought, if I try it...i'll only be down the cost of the amsoil and a couple extra to get it put it.....now...i'm a believer!

Seriously, it's a lot less hastle to put down a couple of 10 bills on some tranny fluid, than having to deal with those stubborn honda dealerships.
